Provider to Provider Consultation Line (PPCL) is offering a webinar on "Growing Up with Anxiety: Management Strategies Through Childhood" on November 13, 2024 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. This upcoming learning event will assist healthcare providers in addressing their patients’ mental and behavioral health challenges. PPCL’s Continued Learning Series is committed to providing professional development opportunities to assist perinatal and pediatric health care providers in identifying and addressing the mental and behavioral health needs of their patients.
Educational Objectives
- Identify emergence of anxiety disorders across development.
- Differentiate between anxiety disorders and other common presentations.
- Apply developmentally appropriate treatments.

Dr. Waldman is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He previously served as the Training Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at LSU Health in New Orleans. While on faculty, Dr. Waldman led the consult-liaison service at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. He also worked at multiple high schools where he and his team provided direct patient care and consultation for school-based professionals. He is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In his free time, Dr. Waldman enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughters.
