The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians cordially invites you to attend a CME presentation titled, “Lung Cancer Care in Louisiana.”
Learning Objectives:
- Provide an update on the current state of lung cancer in Louisiana.
- Discuss the clinical features of lung cancer and incidental nodules.
- Discuss the screening techniques for lung cancer and incidental nodules.
- Discuss early referral to pulmonary for treatment of lung cancer and incidental lung nodules

About the Speaker:
Abdulla Madjid-Moosa, DO, received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2015, and then completed a Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Becoming a physician was a natural decision for Dr. Majid-Moosa after admiring his great uncle's work as a doctor. He enjoys helping families at their most emotional and vulnerable states. During his free time, he volunteers with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
CME Accreditation
The AAFP has reviewed 2025 Monthly Webinar/Grand Rounds Series and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Terms of approval is from 1/20/2025 to 12/23/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
