Spread the word that the AAFP FMIG Network is hosting an FMIG Faculty Advisor and Supporter workshop from 1 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2025, at the STFM Conference on Medical Student Education. Registration is open for the STFM event, which is Jan. 30-Feb. 2, 2025, in San Antonio.

At the AAFP workshop, faculty and staff advisors from across the country will come together to share successful strategies for family medicine interest groups and get reenergized for this vital work. The workshop will highlight new and emerging research on the role of FMIGs, models for FMIG engagement and management, and leadership skill development for faculty and staff.
