About the Speaker:
Abdulla Madjid-Moosa, DO, received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2015, and then completed a Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Becoming a physician was a natural decision for Dr. Majid-Moosa after admiring his great uncle's work as a doctor. He enjoys helping families at their most emotional and vulnerable states. During his free time, he volunteers with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Dr. Moosa is very passionate about Our Lady of the Lake’s Incidental Lung Nodule Program, which is finding cancer that otherwise would go undetected. He also specializes in various interventional pulmonology procedure for patients with advanced COPD, airway narrowing, suspected endobronchial tumors, or persistent air leaks.
