The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians cordially invites you to attend a CME presentation titled, “Easy Treatments for Common Derm Conditions.”
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss some common dermatological problems Family Physicians will encounter in practice.
- Review up-to-date and evidenced-based treatment recommendations for each common condition discussed.
- Discuss components for patient education of each of the conditions.
- Discuss when to refer patients to dermatology.

Aimee Coscarart, MD

About the Speaker:
Dr. Aimee Coscarart received her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her medical degree from Louisiana State Health Sciences Center Medical School in New Orleans. Following this, she completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She also completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at Tulane.
Dr. Coscarart is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2019. She has a special interest in pediatric dermatology and alopecia. Her expertise is in skin cancer and diseases of the hair, skin, and nails in both adults and children.
She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Rachal, a family practice doctor in New Roads. She and her husband Lander live in New Orleans with their four children Natalie, Lillian, Lander Michael and Joseph.
