We were so excited to welcome the interns at the Ochsner St. Tammany Family Medicine Residency Program! The interns and faculty enjoyed a lunch provided by the LAFP Foundation. Lee Ann Albert provided an overview of the LAFP/AAFP membership benefits and ways to be involved at the state and national level.
Program Director, Lisa Casey, MD, discussed the advocacy efforts led by the LAFP. Lee Ann reviewed the Advocacy Action Center on the LAFP website and the importance of taking part in the grassroots call to action during the 2025 legislative session.
Congratulations to the intern class!
