On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the LAFP in partnership with the LSU Health, Shreveport Family Medicine Interest Group hosted the North Louisiana Regional Residency Recruitment Fair and Procedural Workshops.
Over 60 students from LSU Health enjoyed a networking lunch provided by the FMIG. The students were able to meet faculty and resident from the following programs:
- Lake Charles Family Medicine Residency Program
- Monroe Family Medicine Residency Program
- LSU Health Shreveport Family Medicine Residency Program
- Ochsner St. Tammany Health System Family Medicine Residency Program
- Kenner Family Medicine Residency Program
- Lafayette Family Medicine Residency Program
- Bogalusa Family Medicine Residency Program
- East Jefferson Family Medicine Residency Program
Following the Residency Fair and lunch, the programs and students moved to the Core Labs for the hands-on procedural workshops. The students enjoyed learning important clinical skills. Thank you to the following programs for hosting the workshops:
