By providing the following member-exclusive events as well continuing medical education (CME) opportunities, the LAFP helps to ensure its members are able to maintain their clinical expertise as well as providing opportunities to network with peers. It’s all about connections!
Live, In-Person Events
- Grand Rounds Member District Socials: These are regional member socials that encourage camaraderie with fellow family physicians in your practice area. The educational component of the Grand Rounds is a dinner CME presentation hosted by one of our Family Medicine Residency Programs that provides 1.0 hour of Prescribed credit.
- 78th Annual Assembly and Exhibition: This is our largest educational event that offers four exciting days of inspiring CME session led by expert faculty. Not only will you earn over 20 hours of Prescribed credit, but the meeting agenda is also packed with social events providing time to reconnect with friends and colleagues.
Live Virtual Events
- The Monthly Webinar Series: Through our monthly live webinars, you will receive updates on hot topics relevant to family physicians. The webinars are FREE and provide 1.0 hour of Prescribed credit.
