The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) held its Awards and Installation ceremony on Friday, July 26th at the Hotel Effie in Destin, FL. We celebrated all of the award winners and Dr. Vincent Shaw for his presidency over the past year.

During the ceremony, Dr. Vincent Shaw was presented with his LAFP President’s jacket for his service as President over the past year. American Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors representative, Dr. Sterling Ransone from Virginia, installed the 2024-2025 officers. The LAFP would like to thank Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana for sponsoring the ceremony and their support over the years.
