On Thursday, November 2, the LAFP hosted the Lake Charles Area Grand Rounds and Member District Social at 1910 Restaurant in downtown Lake Charles. Our members enjoyed visiting with friends over cocktails before the dinner presentation hosted by the Lake Charles Family Medicine Residency Program. Emilio Russo, MD, FAAFP, Department Chair, was on hand to introduce the speakers, Ephraim Opara, MD, and Brian Gamborg MD, FAAFP who presented “A Curious Case of Dysgeusia.”

The program also included a presentation of Years of Membership Awards. Congratulations to Thomas Edward LeBeau, MD, FAAFP 45 years of Membership!
