The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians cordially invites you to attend a CME presentation titled, “You Can Cure Hepatitis C- What You Need to Know to Treat This Common Disease.”
Learning Objectives:
- Understand pre-treatment testing for treatment of Hepatitis C--the basics.
- Understand what additional testing is needed in specific patients, particularly those with history of Hepatitis B.
- Review the important drug interactions.
- Understand post treatment testing and which patients need follow up with a hepatologist.
About the Speaker:
Jule Griebrok-Assercq, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Family Medicine with Louisiana State University. She completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at the Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She currently practices at the LSU Mid City Clinic where she serves as the Hepatitis C Champion and supervisor the Mid City Wound and Foot Clinic. Dr. Assercq is an active member of the LAFP and board-certified in Family Medicine.
