The AAFP and the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) invite chapters to nominate members for the 2024 Nikitas J. Zervanos Outstanding Program Director Award.

The award recognizes a family medicine residency director who has demonstrated leadership and advancement of the specialty, served as a mentor to residents/medical students and served the community, as well as the organizations of family medicine. Review the eligibility criteria on the AFMRD website. The deadline for nominations is Oct. 2, 2023.

The award recipient will be honored at the Residency Leadership Summit in March 2024.
