At the end of 2022, the LAFP Foundation Board approved a new scholarship fund to help offset the tuition cost of the Advanced Trauma Life Support course for our resident members. The goal is to provide $500 to 2 resident members who successfully complete a certified Advanced Trauma Life Support Course.

The LAFP Foundation is excited to announce that the first ATLS Scholarship has been awarded to Tucker Madden, MD, PGY-3, Lake Charles. Dr. Madden is a Rural Scholar with the LSU Health New Orleans Rural Scholars Track. After graduation, he plans to practice in Bush, LA.
