Serving as an LAFP Delegate while in medical school or residency is a tremendous opportunity to develop leadership skills, connect with colleagues early in your career, and be the liaison of family medicine education in Louisiana to our membership. As a student and resident, you are the future of Family Medicine, and serving as a delegate ensures that issues important to you and your colleagues are communicated to the full membership of LAFP. It helps our active members connect with you early in your career and establish relationships that will last as you transition into your practice.
