Last month, the AAFP launched a new grassroots program, Advocacy Ambassadors. Formerly known as Key Contacts, Advocacy Ambassadors are family physicians that use their medical expertise and respected community roles to raise awareness, engage with stakeholders and drive action on healthcare policies and issues critical to their clinical practice and medical profession.
