The AAFP is seeking chapter staff to join in its Family Medicine Champions program, which trains participants to educate medical students about the role family physicians play in primary care, preventive health and advancing health equity.
Champions help medical students understand the need for family physicians and why now is the time to consider this career path. They also address misconceptions about family medicine and share the myriad of career opportunities available.
Register to become a Family Medicine Champion by Dec. 27 to join the free self-paced certificate program beginning in January 2025.
