About the Speaker:
Robert St. Amant, MD graduated from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans and the EKL Family Medicine Residency Program. As a board-certified Family physician, he practiced at the Baton Rouge Family Medical Center for 33 years. In 2008, he was certified Diplomate, American Board of Clinical Lipidology. From 2011-2022 he served as Medical Director of Lipid Clinics in Baton Rouge and Gonzales. In retirement, he educates clinicians and the public on risk factors for heart disease, stroke, PAD, cholesterol guidelines, and treatment.
