The LAFP Foundation hosted a workshop for the students at VCOM School of Medicine in Monroe on February 21, 2024. Planning for the workshop was led by Jony Munholland, ACOFP President, MS-2, and Jonah Flowers, DO, Associate Chair for Family Medicine for Rural and Medically Underserved Areas and Director for Diversity and Inclusion, and LAFP Member.
The student membership chose suturing techniques and basic incision and drainage. Faculty from the following programs provided instruction for each procedure and information about their programs:
