Tar Wars, the American Academy of Family Physicians’ tobacco-free education program, has published an updated parent information sheet, program guide, and PowerPoint presentation.

Although the resources are designed for teachers to warn students about the health effects of tobacco use and discourage them from smoking or using devices such as e-cigarettes, members are welcome to use them as patient educational materials in practice.
