The Family Medicine Cares Resident Service Award is open to 1st and 2nd-year residents seeking to address unmet health needs in their communities through a year-long service project. The AAFP Foundation provides up to two grants of $16,500 to support such projects. Applications are being accepted through Saturday, September 30.
Many residencies are requiring their residents to complete service projects, so this funding is not only a valuable resource for them but can create enduring benefits for their patients and communities. For more information on eligibility and requirements, please visit the AAFP Foundation website.
