On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the LAFP traveled to Monroe for the Monroe Area Grand Rounds and Member Social. Attendees enjoyed a beautiful evening and dinner at Catahoula’s on Bayou Desiard. Marina Jeffrey, DO, Assistant Professor, Monroe FMRP hosted the educational program, “Contraception Management: Counseling and Selection”.

In addition to the educational program, we were excited to recognize Michael Hayward, MD, FAAFP for his 40 year membership anniversary.
