LSU Health Shreveport hosted a family medicine only residency recruitment fair on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Over 40 students attended the fair and visited with our programs. The fair gave 4th year students interviewing with our programs the opportunity to meet program faculty and residents in relaxed setting. The 2nd and 3rd year students were also in attendance to learn more about the programs and make early introductions.
Representatives from the following programs were onsite to meet students:
- Baton Rouge General
- East Jefferson
- Kenner
- Lake Charles
- Shreveport
- St. Tammany
Lee Ann Albert, Membership and Outreach Coordinator, provided information about LAFP membership and ways to get involved with the Academy. The FMIG provided a buffet lunch from Chick-Fil-A.
