The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) will host a virtual, all-member town hall on Sunday, October 22, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. EST for dialogue and a moderated Q&A.
AAFP President Tochi Iroku-Malize, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAFP, will lead thisAAFP President virtual event for members unable to attend the Congress of Delegates in Chicago later this month.
Dr. Iroku-Malize will talk about the AAFP’s work in advocacy and education, and the Academy’s focus on building connections with one another and with the partners who support our specialty. Come ready to learn more about the AAFP’s high-level priorities and plans underway at the Academy, including its efforts to:
- Make sure you’re being paid fairly
- Bolster and diversify the primary care workforce
- Ensure that innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence, help our practices
- Equip you with tools to promote health equity
- Improve access to high-quality primary care for all, including maternal health care.
