The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has released its Request for Nominations for AAFP Commissions, AAFP American Medical Association (AMA) Delegation, and American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Board of Directors positions are now available for interested members.

Accessing the forms is done via the AAFP website and is available until Sunday, October 15. Information regarding the AAFP Commission structure, expectations, and current openings can also be found on the AAFP website.

At the December 2023 meeting, the AAFP Board of Directors will fill 32 commission vacancies including two Chapter staff positions on eight AAFP commissions, 10 AMA Delegation positions created by expiring terms of members, and 5 nominees to be submitted for consideration of appointment to the ABFM for their Board of Directors.
