Building upon a creative idea submitted by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) is excited to announce a new planning tool, now available in the Diplomate's MyABFM Portfolio.

New Pain Medicine KSA Available!
As part of ABFM’s commitment to continual improvement of the activities used in Family Medicine Certification, we have revised all of our 60-item, topic-specific KSAs to move to single best answer questions and to update the critiques and references. In doing so, we have created a new Pain Medicine KSA. Find out how this can help your members meet their Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requirement.

New Population Health PI Activity: Faster, Simpler and Easier to Complete
We listened to Diplomates’ feedback and have just released the revised Population Health PI Activity option. This activity utilizes the free version of the PHATE tool or the full version, which is available in the PRIME Registry dashboard, to help deepen physicians’ understanding of Social Determinants of Health and social deprivation risk levels in their patient population.
