You may ask what exactly is a MIG? A MIG is a Member Interest Group that provide an environment to learn and share ideas. AFFP created MIGs as a way to define, recognize, and support members with shared professional interests. Connecting with colleagues both at a state level as well as a national level provide a targeted level of networking around a particular subject matter or aspect of family medicine.

As a member of LAFP/AAFP, we invite you to find your place to collaborate and join a MIG today. Currently, AAFP offers over 20 MIGs that provide an online community for connection and conversation. The MIGs are a great way to connect to existing resources and to provide a forum for discussion and idea-sharing. Examples of the member interest groups available include Adolescent Health, Direct Primary Care, Global Health, and many, many more. You can read more about all the member interest groups at www.aafp.org. As a first-time visitor to the online community, you will be asked to affirm a Code of Conduct prior to access.

You are just clicks away to connecting with colleagues!
