If you community is affected by opioid use disorder (OUD) and your practice and care team could benefit from interactive learning and mentoring in chronic pain management, opioid prescribing, or OUD treatment, consider participating in an upcoming Project ECHO® OUD educational series hosted by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a tele-mentoring program that brings together primary care physicians, care teams, and subject matter experts, and merges brief lecture presentations with case-based learning. This series will be comprised of monthly 1-hour sessions over a 12-month period, covering a variety of OUD topics. Participation will be open to any practice team member involved in OUD prevention, identification, and treatment.
Sessions will run from April 2023 through March 2024. If you and your practice or care team are interested in learning more, visit the AAFP website to provide your contact information.
