Sign up to be "Family Physician of the Day" at the capitol during the 2025 Legislative Session. The 2025 Legislative session will convene Monday, April 14, 2025, and will adjourn on Thursday, June 12, 2025. We need volunteers for 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday on select dates.

The LAFP is now accepting nominations for the annual student and resident awards as wells as the Family Physician of the Year. Submit your nominations by Friday, March 21, 2025.

Dr. Bouchereau-Lal serves as Associate Program Director of the LSU Health Shreveport Family Medicine Residency Program and is also faculty for the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. She attended medical school at the Medical University of the Americas and completed her training at LSU Health Shreveport (LSUHS) Family Medicine residency program followed by completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at LSUHS.
