On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the LAFP hosted the Greater New Orleans Area Grand Rounds and Member Social. Our members enjoyed visiting with friends over cocktails before the dinner presentation hosted by the Ochsner St. Tammany Family Medicine Residency Program. The speakers for the evening, Mary Payton Grimmett, DO, PGY2, and Jay Haynes, MD, MSc, FAAFP, hosted the CME presentation, “Hyperthyroidism and Prevention of Thyrocardiotoxic Embolic Syndrome”
