fmig making connections oct 21The LAFP was excited to partner with the FMIG at LSU Health New Orleans for their October meeting.  Thank you to Dr. Diamondneshay Ward, Kenner FMRP, Dr. Anthony De Felice, East Jefferson FMRP and Dr. Kylar Wiltz, DePaul FMRP, for participating in an interactive discussion about life as a family medicine resident.

The residents opened the meeting with talking about how and why they chose Family Medicine.  Each provided an overview of their programs.  The students also gained insight on a typical day in residency.  Our resident members talked about juggling hospital rounds with clinic hours as well as managing their complement of patients through the 3 years of residency.

Lunch was provided through funding from the LAFP Foundation.
