The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) invites you to submit one or more applications to present at the LAFP annual meeting. The 80th Annual Assembly and Exhibition is scheduled for July 22-25, 2027 in New Orleans, LA at the Roosevelt Hotel. Take this opportunity to educate your peers.
The LAFP is developing a broad spectrum of education that will provide the most recent and relevant clinical practice guidelines, practice recommendations, and research evidence to help family physicians improve outcomes and practice success. Proposals submitted for course/sessions should be based on content that addresses clinical practice gaps, educational needs, content areas, and learning objectives. The session should also be at the appropriate level of rigor for practicing family physicians. Please review the information as you design your proposal.

Proposals submitted for course/sessions should be based on content that addresses clinical practice gaps, educational needs, content areas, and learning objectives. The session should also be at the appropriate level of rigor for practicing family physicians.
In order to be considered, your submission must include:
- Evidence-based clinical content
- is clinically relevant to family medicine with appropriate level of rigor for practicing physicians
- is designed to change practice behaviors and addresses practice barriers
- is free of commercial bias
- Completed Conflict of Interest Form

The Committee on Education will review the proposals in early 2027, and notification of acceptance will follow.
