Our family medicine and residents weren’t the only winners in the LAFP Foundation Fundraisers. Attendees were feeling lucky and won big in the Mystery Box Prize Drawing. Attendees purchased tickets for the Standard Prizes starting at $250 or the Premium Prizes valued from $750 to $1,500+ and took a chance to win some exciting prizes. Prizes included sports tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, spa certificates, and more. Tickets were drawn live during the Family Medicine Celebration, where winners got to pick and open their mystery box—no hints, just pure luck and excitement!
The LAFP Foundation Board of Directors extends a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who purchased tickets! The future of Family Medicine is bright in Louisiana. 100% of the monies raised by these fundraisers support the Foundation’s outreach and recruitment efforts for our future – our students and residents. The Family Medicine Celebration was a Hawaiian themed event sponsored by Primary Care Plus. During the Family Medicine Celebration, the LAFP Foundation auctioned off several items. The winners were as folllows:
- Inshore Fishing Trip donated by Moreau Physical Therapy, Dr. Rabalais and Dr. Robichaux - The winner of the fishing trip was Wayne Gravois, Donald Brignac, Carl McLemore and Paul Rachal.
- College World Series Weekend donated by the Albert Family - The winner college world series weekend was William Adams.
- Lake Hamilton Lake House donated by Dr. Peter Seidenberg - The winner of the lake house weekend was Roxanne Boyd.
- Custom Cochise Guitars Electric Guitar with 4 Lessons donated by Dr. Vincent Shaw - The winner of the guitar was Karl Hanson.
