updates 2026The 2026 Regular Session of the Louisiana began at 12 noon on Monday, March 9, and must adjourn sine die no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, June 1. The LAFP Board of Directors and Legislative and Advocacy Committee will meet and review all of the bills that have been filed. Over 1,300 bills were introduced.
