The LAFP was excited to partner with the leadership of the FMIG at Ochsner UQ to host a panel discussion on “Lifestyle as a Family Physician”. The panelists included:
- Emily Holt, DO
- Lindsay Liles, MD, FAAFP
- Marcus Davis, MD
- Nichole George, MD
The panelists talked about their individual paths that led them to their current practice settings. Students were able to ask questions to help understand how family physicians handle a work-life balance and avoid burnout. The panelists also talked about the various practice options available to family physicians.
Funding for snacks and drinks was provided through the LAFP Foundation. LAFP staff member, Lee Ann Albert, provided an overview of membership benefits and encouraged students to join the LAFP/AAFP.
