The American Medical Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are offering the webinar Measles on the Rise: How to Prepare and Respond in Your Clinic. With the ongoing measles outbreaks in the United States, all healthcare professionals should remain alert for measles cases, especially during the upcoming summer travel season, and particularly in unvaccinated patients.

To help physicians and other healthcare professionals remain prepared, CDC’s Project Firstline is hosting a webinar on Thursday, May 15, at 10 a.m. CT. The webinar will feature a panel of CDC experts as they cover current trends in measles epidemiology, clinical recognition of measles, the importance of vaccination, and preparing and responding to measles, including infection prevention and control in the healthcare setting.
