Nominations for the AAFP Award for Distinguished and Meritorious Service are due Jan. 31, 2025. This award recognizes members, nonmembers, chapter executives with 25-year service, and entities for long-time dedication to advancing, contributing, and supporting the AAFP and the specialty of family medicine.
The award is intended to recognize long-time dedication, rather than through a single, significant contribution and effective leadership within a chapter or nationally in furthering the development of family medicine. This award is the preferred method for recognizing chapter staff. It can also be presented to national staff and vendors/suppliers.
Nominations are accepted from chapters, AAFP commissions/committees, members, and AAFP staff.
