Early Childhood Education:
Expansion and refinement of the 4-year-old program in St. Charles
Parish will give our earliest learners a head start as they enter
kindergarten.
CurriculumStandards:
The school system is committed to identifying resources that
support the delivery of a more rigorous curriculum. Professional
development for administrators and teachers in effective use of
these resources will continue to be implemented, leading to high
quality teaching and learning.
Personalized Learning:
Individualized learning plans reflect the talents, skills, strengths
and challenges of each student. The school system will continue
to explore ways to allow for flexibility in how students learn,
when they learn and where they learn. This may be supported
through a blended learning platform consisting of traditional and
computerized instruction.
