Dr. Cheryl Hickey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research from the United States Coast Gua rd Academy in New London\, CT. After completing three tours in the US Coas t Guard\, Dr. Hickey then earned her medical degree from the Louisiana Sta te University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans\, where she also comple ted her Emergency Medicine/Internal Medicine residency and her Undersea an d Hyperbaric Medicine fellowship. She is board certified in Emergency Medi cine\, Internal Medicine\, and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Hicke y’s passion for hyperbaric medicine started during her time as both a recr eational and military diver. She is currently the Medical Director of Our Lady of the Lake Wound and Hyperbaric Center as well as MidCity Diabetic F oot and Wound Clinic in Baton Rouge\, LA.
